Data Export/Import Problem [message #184886]

Hello!...

I have a database in Oracle 9i. I Exported that into a dmp file. I have same schema in 10g with data. I tried to import 9i DB into 10g. I done from DBA account. But data is not replacing....

Any errors?
Any warnings?
Or is it giving you a long list of successful operations in the Log file and just not actually importing the data?

Data will not be replaced.
It will be appended or rejected (if there is a integrity vioation)

True - I'd have hoped the OP would have mentioned i it had produced a huge log file with one line in it for each row in his schema.
I'm probably being optomistic again....

IMP-00003 & ORA-00942

Need not replaced atleast not able to add new data.

Post the exact, full error message with the text.
ORA-00942 is something related to table or view does not exist.

Export was done using EXP 9i utility.

Did you, perhaps, try to import data into 10g database using 9i IMP utility? If so, don't do that - use 10g IMP instead.
